“Conversations with curators Leandro Pisano and Alessandro Esposito/Ufficio Bifolco Workshop, architect and designer, Theo Spyropoulos/Minimaforms, artist Heath Bunting and researcher Alma Clavin. This session takes the lead from some of the concepts proposed by the Ufficio Bifolco Workshop, mainly how rural territories can become a new medium of arts inspiration for electronic artists, who mainly draw insights from urban areas and vice versa.
The Ufficio Bifolco Workshop will present the work they have been focusing on in Southern Italy – concepts such as the changing nature of the rural landscape, traditional vs modern influences, community and technical innovation and navigation. Artists and designers Theo Spyropoulos/Minimaforms, activist/artist Heath Bunting and urban researcher Alma Clavin, will respond to some of these themes and present their perspective. The focus for the session will be on how multidiscplinary approaches to landscape, terrain and networks is re-shaping how we enage with our urban and rural landscapes”.
